After earning her Bachelor of Fine Arts from the Savannah College of Art & Design, Sarah returned to her home state to complete a Master of Architecture. At the University of Houston, she centered her studies on youth homelessness and low-income housing. She works on variously scaled projects at GSMA and is pursuing professional licensure. Sarah seeks creative challenges and is particularly interested in design that promotes equality. She serves as a Co-Chair on the Education & Outreach Committee within AIA Houston's Women in Architecture, and trains in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, where she enjoys teaching other women self-defense.
